Berta was the vibrant heart of the adventure gaming community, a rare soul who turned a shared passion into a deeply connected family. With an effortless grace, she bridged the worlds of players and creators, weaving a tapestry of friendship, creativity, and pure joy that touched everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. When she was suddenly taken from us in September 2025, the world grew noticeably dimmer. 

The profound void she leaves behind is a testament to the immense space she occupied in our lives—a space that can never be filled. This video is a humble tribute to a beautiful life, a small remembrance of the colossal, lasting impact Roberta Vaughan made on the world she left far too soon. Her spirit remains woven into every story we tell and every adventure we share. 

I wrote this piece and produced the video as a love letter to Roberta, her family, the community of adventure gamers she fostered, and to my beloved Sierra alumni.
