Couple months back we found out we are having another girl! These two girls are super excited to have another sister. Lyvi makes sure to tell everyone she meets that her mom is having a baby and its a girl.

A few months back Lyvi had her tonsils and adenoids out, She sleeps so much better and loves to smell everything now! It is so sad to think she hasn't been able to smell all this time. She was so brave. She took the nurse by the hand and walked to the surgery room without any tears! Which is amazing since she has cried at every doctors appointment i can remember.

June and Bo are still the best of friends. She loves to sneak him treats often.

June Bug turned 2 a couple of weeks ago. We woke her up early before Justin left for work so we could sing to her and watch her open up her gifts.

She enjoyed every last bite of her birthday doughnut. With help of her big sister she ripped into her gifts. She got a baby, baby car seat, and "Sesame Street" house. We spent most of the day at home playing with all her new toys.

After dinner we met Granna and Papa at "The Sugarbowl". Its been our tradition for the past couple of years and the girls look forward to going to the "Pink ice cream place" every birthday.

June is by far the most independent 2 year old I know. She thinks she can do whatever her older sister can do. June loves Lyvi! They are the best of friends. She hates to see Lyvi go to dance and school. The whole time shes gone she begs to "GET LYVI". Babies and dogs she absolutely adores. She still is the biggest daddy's girl. Every morning when i go into to get her she asks "Where's daddy?" She loves to dance. Some how she taught herself how to whistle. She is sassy but so sweet at times.

We love you June Bug! We wouldn't change a thing.

Cabin trip

The past 7 years my family has been going up to my brother in law Rush's family cabin. We look forward to it every year. This year we left June at home with Grandma and Grandpa. She doesn't sleep well unless she is in a crib and I wasn't going to chance breaking my leg again cause of lack of sleep. It was such a relaxing trip with only one kid. I only saw Lyvi when it was time to eat. She was in heaven playing with all her cousins.

Meet Buttercup aka Ryan (my bro in law)

He was our camp director this year. He knows us Burrs get bored super easy and so he stepped up and had planned games and activity's every hour of everyday. He made it the best year yet.

We arrived late Friday morning and spent the day outside enjoying the weather.

That night a big thunderstorm rolled in so we ate dinner, bathed kids, and sent them to bed. Night time is where the fun really begins. We played the newlywed game, LCR, and watched "the great outdoors" on a projector Ryan brought up.

The rest of the day I forgot to take pictures. The Mom's only trip to the dollar store, Boys went shooting, spray paint art, bingo, raffle, night games etc.

Sunday for church each of the brother in laws and brother shared a story about there mission. We played outside before we had to pack up and leave.

Utah 2012

Justin, the girls, and I made the trip to Utah to visit family and to celebrate the 4th of the July. I love being in Utah for the 4th. It was a very laid back trip. The girls mostly enjoyed being able play outside without suffering from heat stroke. We stayed with Justin's Uncle and Aunt, it was like staying at a 5 star hotel but way better! Uncle Doug and Aunt Debbie have lots of Grand kids who live near by so there were always someone for the girls to play with. While we were there we enjoyed the Salt lake temple grounds.

Swim lessons

The first week of swim lessons there was A LOT of crying going on.

The 2nd & 3rd week she held back her tears and started enjoying the water a little more.

The last day of swim lessons she jumped off the diving board. She is not a fan of the diving board but she did it! I was shocked!

Lyvi graduated her first year of Preschool. She always looked forward to Tuesday and Thursday(school days). Her favorite thing to do at school was paint and use markers.

Lyvi learned so many new songs at school that she is constantly singing around the house.

She's going to miss Mrs. Pam and Mrs. Jennie and all her friends but is excited to go to the "big school" Haven't broken the news to her yet that she has one more year of preschool before elementary.

Easter Sunday started with 8:30 church

We stayed home and had our own relaxing Easter Sunday. After church and naps we hid some eggs for the girls to find, enjoyed a steak dinner and ended the night with "The Muppet Movie" the girls got for Easter.

Can't believe it! Lyvi turned four years old and this is how we celebrated her special day... It started with a chocolate donut with sprinkles of course and opened up some presents before dad left for work. Got dressed for school and took her and sister on a quick ride in her new (to her) car.

After school we went shopping with her birthday money and ate lunch at Chick Fil'a.

When Justin got home from work we headed to "The Sugar Bowl" for dessert. I knew she would love "The Sugar Bowl" the place is covered in pink and Lyvi is obsessed with pink and ice cream.

The day before her birthday we had a small birthday party. Granna made her a barbie cake that she adored.

They don't get much sweeter then Lyvi. She is a GREAT big sister! She is always comforting June when ever she's upset, at times June would rather have Lyvi comfort her then me. At times she can be sassy but for some reason she saves her sassy-ness for me only. She loves to learn, go to school, and primary.

*something I want to remember about Lyvi: "Mom I wish I could have homework? Maybe for my birthday!" So for her birthday I picked up some homework books from the dollar store. Lets just say when she opened them up her reaction was bigger then when we surprised her with the princess jeep. She is for sure Justin's child!

Today Tyler and Bekah were sealed to Ruby. It felt amazing to finally see this cute family be sealed for time and all eternity. Congratulation you guys! We're extremely happy for you!

June 18mo. & 5 year anniversary

June turned 18mo. February 29th, She has had her fair share of ear infections. We decided it was time for ear tubes. Poor June had to fast, thank-goodness her surgery was at 9am. She did great! She went straight to the nurse without crying, which I was happy about I might have lost it too. The surgery was shockingly fast, 10 min if that. The nurses warned me that she would have a hard time coming out of the anesthesia and she did.

When we got home she ate some crackers and water and was back to her normal self within minutes.

Of course 18mo. is known for one thing NURSERY! June walked right in without any hesitation. She has always been a social baby never really went through a "stranger danger" stage. She's happy where ever she's at. June's happiest when she's eating, so happy that she dances while she eats. She is truly the sweetest little girl but little sister also has a temper and makes sure to let you know when she is upset with you, size doesn't matter to her believe me! June brings so much joy and laughter to our family. We cant get enough of her! Here is her first day of nursery picture. Looks more like a mug shot to me but whatever.

She loves to have her picture taken. I love her in red, she reminds me of "Annie."

Justin and I celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary. We started the day with breakfast at "T.C Eggington's," our favorite. Jacob and Lexi babysat while we went to red lobster, saw the movie "The Vow" and ended the night with frozen yogurt. I am such a lucky girl to have such a wonderful hard working husband who is constantly making me laugh. He is an amazing dad to Lyvi and June. I could not ask for a better husband. Its been a GREAT 5 years! Looking forward to years to come.

Our Girls trip to Disneyland

My oldest niece Brooke who is 6 and her sister Cami who is 3 had never been to Disneyland. We decided to take a "Girls ONLY trip" and spend the weekend in California. Karen's friend was kind enough to let us borrow her condo in San Diego. We left Friday afternoon and got to San Diego right in time for bed. We woke up the next morning at 5:45am so we could be at Disneyland right when it opened. We got to the park right at 9:00am to find out they aren't opening the gates due to a bomb threat. We couldn't believe it. We sat out front for an hour waiting and hoping they would open the gates. We decided to eat lunch and let the girls play at Chickfila while we wait to see if they open the gates. I think the adults were more depressed then the little girls. They were just thrilled to be together. While at Chickfila I called Justin to tell him the bad news. He called Disneyland to complain to whoever would listen. When someone finally answered the phone they told him they had opened the gates. Us girls couldn't believe it!!! We jumped in the car and headed back to Disneyland. When we first got there we started with the snowwhite ride. Lyvi was GRUMPY she didn't want to ride any of the rides. I was the mom who was forcing her kid to go on a ride while she was kicking and screaming NO! She was for sure sleep deprived.

She was happy to go on the "Tea cups" its her favorite.

Lyvi did go on some big rides only if I covered her eyes. She fell asleep while waiting in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean and slept for the entire ride. She needed that power nap.

The girls were all such troopers and stayed out till almost midnight. It started out as a terrible day and ended up being a trip we wont forget!

Sunday we slept in till 8:30! it felt great. We then ate breakfast at Panera. yum. Then made the long drive back home. Hey sister's, lets make this a annual thing! what do you say?

While we were away Justin and June went to church on Sunday and then had dinner at his Mom's. When Bekah gave Justin a heads up that June's Dress had been on backwards.... the whole day including through Stake Conference.

Jacob and Lexi's reception was a blast! Beautifully decorated, delicious food, and an entertaining dance floor/DJ. The little girls have been counting down the weeks to be able to dance to some "Justin Bieber" on the dance floor. So we weren't surprise to see that they were the first ones on the floor.

Burr Wedding Part 1

*Justin whispering "happy birthday" in Jacobs ear (it wasn't Jacob's birthday, it was Justin's moms and I guess she was on his mind) after being sealed and then accidentally rubbing his beard on Jacobs cheek while still hugging him. It was a had-to-be there kind of thing. It made me laugh till my head hurt.

"Big School"

Lyvi's been counting down the Sundays for weeks now. She is finally in (the words of Lyvi) " the Big School" at church, Primary that is. She's is thrilled! She was a tad bit sad that they didn't draw her name out of the "helping can" but there is always next week.

Christmas 2011

We started our Christmas Eve with the Danielson's. Our Tradition is to eat lunch and then play Bingo. We look forward to it every year. Even the kids get to play and win prizes.

Bonnie made these adorable scarfs. I'm in love with them.

Christmas eve night we get together with my family. We have dinner, the nativity, hay ride/caroling, cousin gift exchange, and white elephant. Every year it gets better and better. *fun fact: anytime June hears music she'll start waving her hands like she is leading the music. She learned it from primary.

Christmas morning Justin and I woke up at 7am. We were too excited to keep waiting so we woke up the girls at 7:30. Seriously, who sleeps in Christmas morning? Lyvi had forgotten that it was christmas until we told her Santa came. She leaped out of bed and dug right in to the gifts.

Christmas dresses. I loved having Christmas fall on a Sunday.

We had a wonderful Christmas! We hope our Family and Friends did too.

Zoo lights

Monday night after searching for 15 minutes for a parking spot and then walking 1/2 mile to get in, we were finally able to enjoy the zoo lights with some of Justin's brothers and there families.

June was content with the view of the lights from her stroller.

Of course Lyvi wouldn't smile for me but for Bekah and Tyler she will.

After some convincing and paying 3 dollars each Justin and Bekah tried out the "Polar slide."

Definitely the highlight of my night.

15 months

Her Likes (in no particular order): Shoes, Bo (the dog aka her partner in crime) Lyvi, Music, Dancing, Animals, people (anyone who is willing to hold her), babies, her blanket, climbing, eating EVERYTING in sight, will do anything for a laugh and then will continue to do it over and over.

Her Dislikes: Sitting still.

I really can't think of any dislike. The girl is always happy!

Gilbert Days

Of course Gilbert days was Saturday and you know the Burr gang was there bright and early. I always feel terrible for the people who have to sit next to us. We get way to into, some of us (Justin) even end up losing our voices. Doesn't get much sweeter then this...Every year there is a basketball team that is in the parade. They have a basketball hoop on the back of their truck and they let people in the crowd try and shoot a basket from the crowd. Well the past 3 years Justin has tried and missed BUT this year he made it! I have no pictures of it but thank goodness my sister has it on video. He's only watched it 100 times.Also Justin got a picture with the "Suncity Poms". It was a big year for him!After the parade we always head over to my parents for Pizza and horse back riding. First time riding Snoopy. She loved it!And of course Lyvi did too.

Lyvi for weeks has been asking for "footie pajamas." While she was at school June and I picked some up at Costco. After picking Lyvi up from school we showed her what we picked up for her.

Halloween night

We went trick or treat in Justin's parents neighborhood. June went trick or treating to one house, got her sucker and spent the rest of the night enjoying her sucker in the wagon.Lyvi went to 4-5 houses and then asked to go back to Grandma and Grandpa's. She was more into handing candy out to the trick or treaters, not all the trick or treaters, she left the scary costumes for Grandpa.
