When rainstorms are sporadic and blue sky shines, it’s Spring for San Diego County. I’ve been here since 1981 and believe that 2024 is the year for big clouds and amazing weather. . . it’s not unusual for this area though, but my perspective and appreciation for no snow or tornados has grown. I love the cool mornings and bright afternoons. When I don’t have to worry about extreme conditions, I can focus on my work, my writing, my family without added stress. I feel lucky to be in San Diego – a beautiful and clean place to live. Where do you live and why? I’d like to know what makes your place special to you.
Enjoy the Spring season to the fullest. Look up and smile too.
Smiles,
Anna

Because I love journaling and have been writing in journals since I was eight years old, I endorsed the new book “Bring Forth Your Record: A Guide to Preserving Spiritual Experiences” by Rachel Matthews. When you want to start doing something the right way I suggest reading Rachel’s book because it’s important to find the correct updated versions of those things that remain important to you and your growth.
The latest book I’ve been listening to is called “Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones” by James Clear. The lessons of creating new habits at an atomic level is important when old ones are getting you stuck in the muck, and we all need help with adjustments to progress.
Today is the day to begin small, with simple steps forward toward my goals and impressions. Consider what you’d like to accomplish tomorrow and prepare today. Read, use and remember those things that will help you be successful. Seek out those books that will aid and champion your goals. And then let’s go!!
#Record #BringForth #Atomic #Habits #ReadMore
Enjoy your day y’all and happy reading.
Smiles,
Annalisa

At age 43, I was gifted surfing lessons. I took eight surf lessons with 4 different coaches. The photo I found on a usb drive from the garbage pile shows surfer in Costa Rica, but it’s the wave and motion that strikes me as awesomeness because I do like to imagine I could click a picture like that one. I’m happy for what those lessons taught me about my core strength.
At age 44, I was gifted a subscription to F1 TV Pro to watch all Formula One races that season live, broadcast as if I were there in real-time, not replay. It was the most fun trying to manage my life, time, and squeezing in the midnight races too. I’m happy for what it taught me about priorities and making space for important joys like F1 and I even loved it so much, that I was party to witnessing Max Verstappen’s greatest Red Bull season so far…. #maximum Wiiings
At age 45, I was gifted a 4-day Thanksgiving holiday. I spent my time at home and with my husband and children doing non-traditional things like going out to eat together for a Thanksgiving feast. And surprising ourselves with tickets to see the Gulls Hockey game and traveling to Pechanga Stadium where the staff make the Fans happy.
I am proud my books are still in print and available where books are sold. https://www.cedarfort.com/products/i-want-to-be-baptized-hardcover
Happy Thanksgiving!
SURF’S UP! In San Diego too y’all
