Portico has released its second issue, and three of my poems have gone along for the ride. An interesting magazine with a lean toward formalism, which suits where I am right now. Check out the issue’s poems here.

I’ve got new poems coming this Spring and Summer in Event, Prairie Fire, Portico, and Bad Lilies, as well as a short story in New Quarterly (my first new one in about 25 years!) I hope you manage to get your mitts on one!

I’ll be teaching at Sage Hill Writing Residency this Summer, July 2 to 10, in Saskatchewan. It’s the only province I haven’t been to, so I’m excited. It’s in a working monastery, which is sort of wild. I hear it’s beautiful. I’m teaching the in-person poetry class, so maybe you’ll join me?
