Classes are now being offered during the day as well as Friday evenings. Kelli Joyce from Village Yoga is kind enough to let me use her space to host classes. Lots of room to work and a calming atmosphere.

A sneak peak into the October Cork and Canvas Evenings is Powell... pay no attention to the empty wine bottles! We are having so much fun with old friends and Making lots of New Friends!

The November and December Classes are being updated and will be out soon with lots of new paintings. Also, we will have a couple holiday themed ones as well.

Don't forget, you can always Host an evening class. Bring in a group of 4-6 of your girlfriends for a special evening and the class is Free for the hostess. Just a little something we like to do to say Thanks!

Meet Bill Felker, Bookbinder in Yellow Springs.

You can find his beautiful handcrafted and uniquely one of a kind books at Village Artisans in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Bill is such a kind artist to work with and if you stop in on a day he is there you will probably catch him working a new books, ( like I did this past Monday, poor guy had no idea I would whip out the camera and start snapping away! ) He will answer any questions you have or just chat the afternoon away with you. Bill just recieved a new, Masculine shipment of leather, which he refers to as the Harley Davidson of book binding.. SO, If you are looking for a great masculine journal for your honey this Valentine's Day, you know where to go! Something I didn't know was that if you fill up your lovely journal, he will put a new set of paper in for you! Really???? You can use these over and over!

"Happy, vibrant, and beautiful" are the words most often expressed by viewers of my artwork. "Thank you" is my response, but mission accomplished rings in my head. Emerson said " Earth laughs in flowers." I seek to express this exact sentiment in my artwork. I seek to celebrate God's glorious gift of the seasonly morphing natural world. I desire to capture and express this so that it can be enjoyed inside our living spaces.
I am a current Powell resident. Ohio born into a family of competitive and brainiac children. My fate was sealed when my fourth grade art teacher named me artist of the month. " it was an owl expressed in sunflower seeds and elmers glue. " i met my lifetime partner and hubby in high school. I am a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design. For years I espressed my love of nature and creativity through professional floral design. I've been raising three fabulous kids literally painting every wall in our home, and other's too. Now I am back to expressing myself through these mixed media painting.
