The James Balog Earth Vision Awards
The Denver Art Museum is proud to launch the James Balog Earth Vision Awards (JBEVA), a new biennial program supporting photographers documenting environmental change and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. Endowed by renowned environmental photographer James Balog (pictured) and a circle of dedicated donors, the awards aim to provide significant financial support for lens-based artists whose past work and future aspirations demonstrate a sustained commitment to witnessing today's complex ecological narratives.
Applications open September 1, 2026 and close October 1, 2026. Winners will be announced in January 2027.

Eat at The Ponti
The Ponti, located in the Sie Welcome Center of the Martin Building, combines art with dining to present a locally-sourced and seasonally-inspired menu. Come for lunch on weekdays, brunch on the weekends, and dinner on Tuesday and Friday nights. A museum ticket is not required to dine at The Ponti.
