I’m glad people are finding this woman’s story so interesting, because it’s identical to one that I wrote that hasn’t been published yet. I was recently approached by a scam artist who was actually impersonating a legitimate agent who convinced me to send him my entire manuscript. I even posted the first chapter of this particular story on my blog on June 2nd, 2024. The story is titled “Sleep Well, My Dear,” and I posted a portion of it right here in this blog.
I’m spreading this information around just in case this is someone who is trying to bank on my work. It’s actually not the first time someone has done that to me, and the last one had became a major motion picture. I will eventually pursue compensation for that one, even though it was about 20 years ago; but in the meantime, I don’t want any more of my work being stolen.
I’m not saying that her story cannot be true, as I had written mine with the intention of it sounding very plausible; but the parallels are just too uncanny tor me not to mention this. What are the chances that this particular lightning can strike me twice in one lifetime, especially after someone already has possession of my manuscript who has no business having it?
Here’s the video in question, and so far there is no information that can confirm the legitimacy of her claim, which has created a flood of speculation online. Basically, the internet is continuing the legacy of her story for her. Or possibly my story?
