The Bugaboos are in the Purcell mountains south of Golden, BC.
Amazing granite climbing about glaciers - a real treat.
We got lucky with 6 days of good weather.
Cailan was the perfect alpine climbing partner, keen for early starts and pretty big days. climbs included Kain Route on Bugaboo Spire, West Ridge on Pigeon Spire and Kraus-McCarthy on Snow Patch. lots and lots to go back for.
Cailan had to save me, I hadno energy left for the final 5.9 hand crack at the top of Snowpatch, Cailan climbed up to me and walked up the crux pitch to the top. Thanks man! picture - top on snowpatch, and im looking pretty tired.
Back at camp, we had an amazing group (left to right) DaveB, Jenn, Cailan, Alison, Antoine, Me.
We all climbed Bugaboo Spire together, here everyone on top, a precarious place for a group picture.
