To all those sitting there and passing their judgement on Salman Khan, saying he is a “bad person” because he apparently “murdered” someone, please know that you’re not God .
Stop judging , because you are not living their life and unless you know someone’s story you are not eligible to pass judgement on them . Atleast stop tagging someone you hardly know as a “bad” person. God’s sitting up there alright, we can leave that to Him for He knows better than you or I .
How can people be so judgemental? I’m tired of reading posts and tweets and facebook updates saying Salman Khan is a BAD person because he MURDERED someone in a car accident while he drove recklessly under the influence of alcohol.
That was WRONG, and yes that’s a crime. There’s no arguing about that. But you call him a BAD person?
I came across a funny post by a friend on facebook where she claimed that Salman only acted like he is a good person on the camera while in reality he is not. Why? Because , he was drunk and driving and ran these poor people over sleeping on the footpath, and fled.
Yes I like Salman Khan, because he is more than just a good actor. My liking and respect for him comes from the fact that he is one of the nicest people in this world.
But, I’m a human being first, and to me right is right and wrong is wrong. And nothing changes that.
Salman Khan took away someone’s life, shattered a family, and did not stop to even help. Yes, very wrong. Crime is a crime, whether committed by a superstar or a commoner. And I’m very much with the Judiciary and I believe he must be punished for the same.
But to say that he is a bad person is not justified. C’mon people, for one bad deed you cannot forget the thousand good deeds he’s done.
There’s a huge difference between the Salman Khan then and the Salman Khan today. Yes there was a phase of his life when he was a downright drunk, so that makes him bad? Again, you cannot judge someone ’cause you are not living their life. Why they turned into a drunk or an addict or whatever , you cannot sit here and pass your judgement on them because you don’t know what’s their story behind that alright?
Yes he was drunk and he was driving. Definitely a wrong thing. No sensible person will side with him on that. Yes he was rash-driving , and he crushed people under his car. That makes him bad? It’s not like he was in his senses and he did it on purpose? He was drunk as hell, which is no excuse I agree! But people talk as if he is a murderer?
Forget him being a superstar, he is a human too at the end of the day. And we all have flaws. So does he. It could be anyone behind the wheel. He’s not the only one in the world who has accidentally killed people because of reckless driving. There are many others too, so that makes them all bad ?
It’s the intention that matters. Intention is the one thing that changes everything.
Yes he denied it, which was the worst thing to do. Again, any ordinary person would have done the same. ‘Cause noone likes sitting behind the bars for years. Everyone fears it, and so does he.
Yes he should have been guilty (which maybe he was, you or I can’t tell sitting here) . He should have visited the victim’s family. But he didn’t? People are making an issue out of this. But does anyone stop to think WHY under the sun would he not want to meet them ? Maybe because he was too guilty and he didn’t have the face to meet them ? You have killed a member of their family, and facing that family is not easy . Maybe that is why he didn’t? Yes, he behaved like a coward, but WHY do we keep forgetting that Salman Khan is just another human being as you and I ?
He is a nice person now and there’s no denying about that. What are we doing here? Sitting and writing posts trying to pass judgement over someone we hardly know? Atleast he has done a lot more for humanity than you and I have. He has definetely done a lot of charity, yes “saved lives” is what I would say. He’s the kind who pushes a hundred rupee note into that hands of the poor homeless people sleeping so when they wake up in the morning they’d be surprised and happy to see the money and they have no clue where it came from . So yes, that’s him .
He is NOT a bad person . He is human, and he has made mistakes , big ones (taking someone’s life is not just a mistake I know) . But what matters is, he has changed . And I dont see how someone can be so blinded by hate that they call him a “bad person” .
A person who’s into major charity unlike many in this world who can afford to do the same clearly shows he’s a good human being. Being human is doing a commendable job. Hats off to him. Yet, there are people who claim that Being Human was brought into existance by him only to “cover up” his crimes. Really? You know him so well?
Now, what the main intention behind Being Human was, neither I nor you know. But all we know is, it has been saving hundreds of lives and is the reason for the smile on those faces. That is what that counts. Atleast he is doing something for humanity that most of us aren’t.
BUT for the crimes he committed, he needs to get punished. Justice should be given to the life lost and for the ones injured. He should be treated as any normal citizen of India. The number of lives he’s saved cannot substitute to the one lost.
It’s sad that “celebrities” get advantages over the ordinary people, how the laws can be twisted and remade for them.
He could get away with a 5 year imprisonment on executing a bail bond worth Rs.30,000, while an ordinary citizen in his place would not have been able to afford this huge a sum .
If you have committed a crime, you have to pay for it. Justice has to be delivered to the victim’s family. They are poor and cannot afford high class lawyers nor pay huge sums, this does not mean they be kept away from justice .
