Joining the Student Philanthropy Committee (SPC) allows students to work for a meaningful and worthwhile cause; their university. Part of Fordham University's Office of Development and University Relations, the Student Philanthropy Committee, is an extracurricular group where students help to raise monetary support for their school. Students work together to make a positive impact for Fordham.

Composed of undergraduate student leader-philanthropists, the SPC coordinate's Fordham’s student giving campaign including the senior class gift. Student ambassadors represent a diverse array of students – scholars, club leaders, entrepreneurs, athletes, and above all, proud Rams!

The SPC is seeking business students, marketing students, and communications students in particular, however all philanthropic minded students are encouraged to apply. SPC fosters students who are entrepreneurial, self-motivated, creative marketers with big ideas. Committee members will serve as champions of student giving, charged with organizing and motivating their peers to support Fordham through the Fordham Fund. The Committee will build spirit and pride, educate students on opportunities for philanthropy and its importance to Fordham’s mission, and develop strategies to increase student participation through marketing initiatives and programs.
