As I read of your travels (just hearing the word Campground relaxes me) I imagine myself in your shoes. I couldn't pull off what you do, but I can certainly armchair along. Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about this added pain. You have such a great attitude! And yay for your caring hubby.

Just thought - maybe we can meet up in the mountains in August? Somewhere equidistant. I'm ready for cooler climes too, of course. I have one camping trip for the first weekend in August, and the kitchen re-do, but other than that ... I'm free. Think about it.

It's definitely not fun towing. I never noticed much sway driving the TC. Went through some windy narrow canyon roads in TX with strong drafts and it handled surprisingly well. But parked is better no doubt.

Yeah that's why I liked teaching - no politics. Didn't occur to me this project lead job would involve that crap. Love truck campers. The lances are the best but there wasn't one close by light enough for my truck. I've about decided it's ticks. SO GROSS.

I peeked inside some truck campers today and thought about you. There is a Lance dealer here and they had an abundant supply of them - so many different models!

P.S. IMO, it's mice.

Jekyll Island for a few days then north to Myrtle Beach. Combining vacay with business -- always good for a tax write-off! I'm enjoying reading your blog -- love the photos. Brings back memories. Want to go out there again but will probably wait for DH's retirement. That'll be our first LONG trip!

Yeah the doofus recovered. But right before he had his stitches out, he ate more soap and spent a whole day at the vet throwing up. Fortunately no more surgery. Now we keep the soap under lock and key! LOL I wish all kids would start some kind of business. Doesn't have to be much but the experience is well worth it! Life experience, ya know? They all need more of that. Miss ya Katie!
